England, Scotland & Wales 1980 ** London


In 1980 my roommate Scott and I went on a two week vacation Great Britian (England, Scotland and Wales). We planned the trip for months. We got a hop on a military transport. Almost free if you like flying first class baggage. Hey it got us there. We had mapped our route to take in a circular route so we would wind up back in Mildenhall where we arrived.

We spent three days in London walking around taking in the sites and having a great time.

    This was a great trip. Lots of things to look back on and laugh about. Did I ask you if you had a tent? We laughed about that the whole trip. It was also funny how Ken's accent changed depending on where we were, except for Wales. He could handle that accent. Maybe one day we can do another trip together.
